Composition: Points to Ponder

Leading lines:there are multiple lines that makes you focus on different places.

Brightness: this picture was adjusted to fit the perfect light and darkness for the mood.

Emphasize foreground: The horizon is above the center.

Emphasizes height and distance: the horizon is the floor on the bottom, and it emphasizes the distance from the chair to the ground.

Rule of Thirds: the chair is centered to the right of the picture, being the main focus.

Leading Lines: the walkway to the dock makes movement in the picture.

Avoids Bulls-eye: i'm centered in the middle of the picture on eye level.

Simplicity: this picture fills the frame.

Multiple people: this picture was at a concert showing multiple subjects in the frame.

  1. Image 1-You label of leading lines is correct. Image has good clarity, focus, color & contrast. Angle is a bit strange but a good start.

Image 2- Your label of brightness and sharpness is only partially correct. Your image has great focus and clarity but your objects are not lit at all. They are not bright. Despite this it is a good picture quality and color wise. The arrangement of the plants is also nice as it has an asymmetrical balance of negative and positive space.

Image 3-Your label of Emphasizing foreground is incorrect. The horizon is in the middle of the picture. For this picture to meet the label the horizon would have to be in the upper half of the picture on the top third. Image is blurry and out of focus. Has good color however. Don't use blurry images for final submission of work. Switch this picture out for one that works better.

Image 4-The label of Emphasizing height and distance is incorrect as this picture has NO horizon. For this to be Emphasizing height and distance the horizon (where the sky meets the ground) has to be placed in the bottom third of the picture. Image is focus and color is okay.

Image 5-The label of Rule of thirds is correct. Image is very dark due to poor lighting. Image is focused.

Image 6- Your label of Leading lines is correct. However you already have a picture that has leading lines. This image is unedited and is grey in color. You need to load it into photoshop and check the exposure levels. Guaranteed there is no black or white in this picture.

Image 7-You miss read the requirement for this picture. Avoiding Bullseye means to AVOID THE CENTER not place the object in the center. Make sure you are reading the project requirement correctly. Color is not edited. Image is in focus. Redo and resubmit this photo.

Image 8-The label of simplicity is correct. Image has good focus, clarity, color and contrast. Good job with this one.

Image 9-The label of Multiple subjects is correct. Image is in focus. room is a bit dark. Color looks correct though
